Baby comes to life after 2 hours, underwater restaurant

 MOM'S TOUCH SAVES BABY'S LIFE!

There's nothing greater than a mother's love, and in Kate Ogg's case, her love brought her son back to life. The Australian mother was pregnant with twins when she went into labor at only 27 weeks. While her daughter Emily was delivered successfully, son Jamie wasn't so lucky. Little Jamie wasn't breathing and after 20 minutes of trying to resuscitate him, doctors told Kate and husband David that he was dead and gave them the baby to say their goodbyes. Kate decided to unwrap her son from his blanket and hold him against her skin and after two hours, a miracle occurred – little Jamie began gasping for air. While it was initially dismissed by doctors as a reflex action, Kate decided to try and give the boy some breast milk on her finger, and then he began breathing normally. "I thought, 'Oh my God, what's going on,'" said Kate. "It was a miracle. Then he held out his hand and grabbed my finger. He opened his eyes and moved his head from side to side. The doctor kept shaking his head saying, 'I don't believe it, I don't believe it.'" Kate is now an outspoken advocate of skin-on-skin care for sick babies, or as it's otherwise called the "kangaroo care" technique, named after the way kangaroos hold their babies in a pouch next to their bodies. It has been shown to lower infection rates, improve sleep patterns and reduce the risk of hypothermia in pre-term and low birth weight babies. And as for Kate's son Jamie, he's now five-months-old and doing fine. "Luckily I've got a very strong, very smart wife," said David. "She instinctively did what she did. If she hadn't done that, Jamie probably wouldn't be here." And now that she's shared her story, think how many other babies' lives she could be saving.
