Fall Movie Preview, Chicken Wire Sculpture, Daily Page

FALL MOVIE PREVIEW It's been kind of a disappointing summer at the movie theater (if you don't count Inception), so it's time to look forward to what the new season has to offer.  Here’s the  guide to what we hope will be a great fall for flicks:

SEPTEMBER

Never Let Me Go – based on the popular book club selection, the film stars Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield as boarding school students who grow up under mysterious circumstances. (September 15th)

The TownBen Affleck returns to Boston to direct and star in this thriller about a hoodlum who must decide between his dead end life as a crook or his new girlfriend. The film's not-too-shabby cast includes Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall and Blake Lively. (opens September 17th)

Easy AEmma Stone stars as a teen saddled with a bad reputation after lying about losing her virginity. (opens September 17th)

You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger – Although the title sounds kinda creepy, Dark Stranger isn't a horror film. It's the latest flick from Woody Allen. Okay, maybe it is a horror film. (opening September 22nd)

You AgainVeronica Mars' Kristen Bell stars in this comedy about a woman who discovers her brother is marrying her old high school rival. And to guarantee it's a hit, they've got Betty White in it. (opens September 24th)

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps – Greed is once again good for Michael Douglas, who reprises his Oscar-winning role of Gordon Gekko in Oliver Stone's sequel to the 1987 hit. Shia LaBeouf takes Charlie Sheen's place as the young Wall Street-er struggling to survive. (opens September 24th)

Buried – 90 minutes of Ryan Reynolds in a box with only a cell phone and a lighter. Sounds like fun. (opens September 24th)

These sculptures are nothing to cluck at! Artist Ivan Lovatt recreates famous faces using nothing but chicken wire! He has molded the likes of the Beatles, Michael Jackson and Jimi Hendrix.
