ELVIS NEARLY KILLED BY ALICE COOPER

ALICE COOPER says he almost killed ELVIS PRESLEY. He told the UK's Mirror tabloid that one night back in the mid-1970's when Alice was a superstar, he rode up in a elevator with LIZA MINNELLI to The King's penthouse suite in Las Vegas. When the door opened, Alice said he was frisked for weapons. When he got to the kitchen, Elvis was there holding a loaded gun. Alice was told to put the gun to Presley's head. He thought about pulling the trigger, but Elvis did a fast karate move and kicked the weapon out of the shock rocker's hand.
