"I got nothin' " it's a phrase Tracy and I use when we zing each other and the other one has no comic response. I've noticed lately too that if I throw a zinger at Tracy while he's got his nose buried in his smart phone it goes without a witty reaction. I get points if Carl's in the room and he hears it. No points if Carl's out of the studio. So question is if Margo makes a wisecrack and Tracy's on his smart phone and doesn't hear it, does the tree still fall in the woods?
I just read Tracy that line and his response: "I got nothin' ".
He did have this story on earlier this morning and nearly cried.
