Financial news this week is abuzz about Facebook's IPO expected to be more than 14 billion dollars. Well that's a few billion more than the biggest check ever written. The check was written from Mitsubishi to Morgan Stanley. It was an investment that essentially saved the company from collapse.
While you'd think that kind of high finance would have been handled by an electronic transfer, problem was it was Columbus Day and the banks were closed.
