ZZ TOP BRINGS TIGHT SET, FUZZY GUITARS TO CASINO CONCERT
Texas blues and boogie trio ZZ Top Saturday staged a party in the parking lot (because the patio was just too small) open air arena at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA, outside Sacramento, firing on all cylinders during their cars, bars and fuzzy guitars 90-minute set. Resisting the temptation to play “Viva Las Vegas” in the shadow of the “fine facility,” as Billy Gibbons described the casino, the guitarist did not resist joking that he told his “sweetie,” “We finally made the big time – we’re playing a casino.”
They're in town tonight playing at the Eagle River pavillion.
