CALIFORNIA CITY PROCLAIMS SEPTEMBER 15 SAMMY HAGAR DAY
The city of Roseville, CA, a suburb of Sacramento, has proclaimed September 15 Sammy Hagar Day. Why, you say? Because the Red Rocker is ready to pump up the city’s coffers with the opening of his 10,000 square foot restaurant and entertainment venue Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill, situated right in the middle of the city’s revitalized historic downtown. Brian Jacobsen with the city of Roseville said, “Downtown is a big priority for the City and this is a big event.” Hagar will be on hand and is slated to perform at the invitation-only event. The official public grand opening will take place on September 22.
