LEGENDARY BEATLES PRODUCER MARTIN SUBJECT OF DOCUMENTARY OUT TODAY

The world would be a far different place were it not for the indispensable personal and professional relationship between iconic producer George Martin and the Beatles. Martin’s work with the Fab Four and so many other top-notch artists is told in the appropriately titled documentary Produced By George Martin, out today on DVD, Blu-ray and digital video. The documentary features fresh interviews with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, among others, as well as nearly an hour of previously unseen footage.

STEWART WRAPS WORK ON FIRST-EVER CHRISTMAS ALBUM

Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Rod Stewart has just put a bow on his first-ever holiday collection of songs, Merry Christmas, Baby, available October 30. In a press release, the Soccer Rocker said, “I have always been tempted to do a Christmas album. And now that I once again have young children, the timing couldn’t be better.” Stewart’s holiday season sonic gift features a series of special guests, including Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green and Michael Buble, helping out on Christmas classics including “Winter Wonderland,” “We Three Kings,” “White Christmas” and the title track, plus one original, “Red-Suited Super Man,” penned by Stewart, David Foster and Amy Foster.
