SIR PAUL TOPS RICHEST LEAD SINGERS LIST WITH $800M IN THE BANK
Last month, Celebritynetworth.com released their list of the richest drummers on the planet and Ringo
Starr
came in at No. 1 with a net worth of $300 million. Now, the website has issued its list of the richest lead singers in the world, and to nobody’s surprise, Starr’s former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney is far and away the frontman with the most money in the bank, with an estimated net worth of $800 million. The rest of the richest top 5 vocalists include U2 singer Bono ($600M), Jimmy Buffett ($400M), Elton John ($320M) and Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger ($305M). Here is the complete list of the top 50.
POLE POSITION
We doubt this fitness craze will be making its way into school gym classes anytime soon. Duncan’s Twisted Grip Dance and Fitness Studio in Canada is offering pole dancing classes for kids! “Little Spinners” classes will be offered for children as young as five - and apparently there are already four kids signed up (including one boy). Crazy as it sounds, an instructor at the studio claims there’s nothing inappropriate or sexual about teaching tots to work the pole. She says it’s simply a fun way to build strength and improve physical fitness. That’s a pretty pole-arizing opinion.
What do you think of this? Are pole dancing classes for kids inappropriate? Or is it just a fun workout? Have you ever taken pole dancing classes? Or is this just a miopic view of world culture?
