SANTANA WORKING ON MEMOIR SET FOR 2014 RELEASE
One day after The Who guitarist Pete Townshend announced an October 11 release date for his memoir Who I Am, Carlos Santana, another of rock’s finest guitar players, revealed he’s writing an as-yet untitled memoir scheduled to be published in both English and Spanish in 2014. A press release issued Thursday noted that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician’s “highest wish is to help readers discover the sanctity, grave and divinity in themselves.” The release adds, “This book is a testament to triumph, victory, and success.”
