A man owned and drove the same care for 82 years.
People don’t own a single car for 10 years let alone for 82 years! Allen Swift was given his 1928 Rolls-Royce Picadilly P1 Roadster by his father. It was brand-new and a graduation gift in 1928. Swift drove the car until his death in 2009 at the age of 102. He was the oldest living owner of a car from new. He ended up donating the Rolls-Royce to the Springfield Museum after he died. He owned the amazing car for 82 years. It only had 170,000 miles on it and it still runs like a Swiss watch.
