DOCUMENTARY MUSCLE SHOALS TO DEBUT AT SUNDANCE FILM FEST
A plethora of the biggest names in rock, soul, R&B, funk and gospel are featured on the forthcoming documentary Muscle Shoals, which is slated to makes its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, taking place in Park City, UT tomorrow through January 27. The film takes an in-depth look at the tiny town in Alabama and the key recording studios that produced some of the finest music ever recorded. Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger once said, “Being there does inspire you to do it slightly differently. It was really funky; you know, that was the whole idea.” Meanwhile, Keith Richards summed up the city infectious atmosphere succinctly, saying, “You’re in rock and roll heaven.” Watch the trailer for the film here.
