FOGERTY CELEBRATES CAREER-HIGHEST CHART DEBUT ALBUM

Legendary singer/songwriter John Fogerty is celebrating the highest debuting album of his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career (including Creedence Clearwater Revival) with the No. 3 debut ofWrote a Song for Everyone on the Billboard 200 album sales survey.

Fogerty’s new collection of reworked CCR classics sold north of 51,000 copies its first week out, marking his highest chart position since his 1985 solo standard, Centerfield, which climbed to No. 1. The icon will support the release of his latest chart-topper with a series of 10 US concert performances, beginning with an appearance (exact date TBD) at the September 5-8 Interlocken Festival in Arlington, VA, and closing October 20 in Houston.
