TORNADO COVERAGE OUT OF BILLINGS MONTANA:

National Guard troops and local police were keeping a close eye on damaged property after a tornado barreled through two Billings neighborhoods, tearing the roof off a sports arena and several buildings.
The tornado struck at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, running through Main Street and damaging about 10 small businesses in the city's northeast area before quickly moving toward the 10,000-seat Rimrock Auto Arena about a half-mile away.

ITCHING FOR COMPETITION!
Wow, people in Estonia must really be itching for entertainment. The small country held a mosquito catching competition. Thirty-seven competitors gathered in a field to see who could collect the most blood-sucking insects in 10 minutes. Why would they participate in such a thing, you ask? Well it seems this is the country's best idea at pest control. Competitors - who were allowed to work alone or in teams of three - even worked out special strategies. Jevgeny Serov's plan was to make himself sweaty so the mosquitoes would be more easily attracted to him. But the top prize ended up going to Rauno Luksepp, who managed to catch 38 mosquitoes while getting repeatedly bitten. Wonder if the prize was a bottle of calamine lotion...

By the way, this week is National Mosquito Control Awareness Week. How appropriate!

As if bacon wasn't already fun to eat - behold rainbow-colored bacon! It was created by graphic designer Neil Caldwell, but it's totally edible. Color us intrigued...
