Warmer weather is moving in and the long weekend is looking quite nice! Today, temps cool a bit behind the dry cold front that swept through early this morning. Highs will top off right around 70° for the Boise area but skies will stay nice and sunny with a refreshing NW breeze. Winds will get gusty, though, from Mountain Home to the Magic Valley this afternoon.
Into the long holiday weekend, the Treasure Valley will stay mostly sunny with temperatures starting out below normal on Saturday then rising to near 80° for Sunday and the Memorial Day holiday.
The central mountains will see overnight lows in the 30s (even down into the upper 20s for some east central mountain areas!) and highs in the 60s with a mix of sun & clouds and only a slight chance of showers. The best chance of showers will be Sunday afternoon and evening in the higher elevations. Afternoon highs for Memorial Day in the central mountain regions will top off in the mid 60s.Read full story
