Hot and sunny to kick off the month of July, with temperatures remaining above normal today. The storms that moved through late in the day Thursday have moved off to the east and we'll see things stabilize today, though the Boise Mountains could still pick up isolated showers through this evening. Around the Treasure Valley, temperatures will reach the mid 90s once again, well above our normal of 87° for the City of Trees.
Over the holiday weekend, conditions won't change much – we'll stay warm and dry through the July 4th holiday, which will make for perfect and comfortable fireworks viewing on Monday evening! Also on Monday we'll start a slight cooling trend - Boise will see a high of 89° on Independence Day. By mid-week, temps remain at and even below normal, hovering in the mid to upper 80s.
