Showers are on tap yet again Tuesday, with scattered rain expected off and on across central and southern Idaho through early afternoon. The central mountains will bear the brunt of the precipitation with up to half an inch possible in some of the higher terrain today.
Temperatures drop a bit for Tuesday, reaching just 61° for Boise, which is near normal for late October. Overnight, the showers move off to the north, and that will allow high pressure to build in, which means an extremely mild Wednesday is in store. Highs tomorrow will reach the mid 70s in many valley locations!
The mild conditions only stick around through Thursday, though - by Friday, temperatures plummet and rain returns to the Gem State.Read full story
